- Amazon product URLs you submit for analysis
- Basic analytics data (page views, referrer) via Google Analytics
- Email address if you create an account or subscribe to Pro
- Payment information is processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details
Chrome Extension
- The extension reads the current Amazon product page URL to perform analysis
- Analysis results are cached locally in your browser using chrome.storage
- The extension sends the product URL to our API (fakescan.site) for AI analysis
- No browsing history, personal data, or non-Amazon pages are accessed or collected
How We Use Your Information
- To analyze Amazon product reviews and provide trust scores
- To improve our AI detection algorithms
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To send transactional emails (receipts, account updates)
Data Storage & Security
Analysis data is stored on secure servers. We retain product analysis results to improve accuracy. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to provide our service (e.g., Stripe for payments).
